The Hall’s committee of local volunteers manages the Richmond Memorial Hall. These residents generously donate their time to maintain and operate the hall, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for the community.
On a day to day basis, there are three main positions actively managing the hall:
chair@richmondmemorialhall.org.uk
The chair has responsibility for hosting meetings, and ensuring they run appropriately.
Mike joined as Chair in January 2025 and has lived in the village since 2017.
With a young family, all of whom have benefitted from the groups and activities hosted by the Hall he is keen to support it so that it might continue to play its essential role in our community well into the future.
He brings experience of supporting volunteers and community initiatives, research and evaluation, and writing funding bids.
treasurer@richmondmemorialhall.org.uk
Our treasurer handles financial matters for the hall such as invoices, bills and writing the annual financial report.
Michele is the longest running member of the committee, and brings a huge amount of knowledge to the role.

Bookings for the hall are managed by our secretary who is also responsible for recording meeting minutes and handling any general enquiries.
Simon has been secretary since 2017. He lives a few miles outside the village with his family, and is enthusiastic about promoting the hall and it’s facilities.
He works in IT, and has provided skills to setup this website and associated IT services for the Hall.
He’s also involved with other groups in the village, such as the Children’s Christmas Party team.
We always welcome new people to join us in helping to run the hall – whether that’s sharing valuable business or practical skills, helping out with events or maintenance, or getting involved in fund raising. If you’re interested in helping or learning more, we encourage you to get in touch.
